My Story

I trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the acclaimed Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London. Prior to this, I taught primary aged children for 28 years both in the UK and France, mentoring and coaching fellow teachers for some of this time.

Following health concerns of my own, including anxiety, rosacea, SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and other gut issues, I developed a passionate interest in the beneficial role of food and how eating well can positively impact the different body systems.

I have a growing interest in how Mindfulness can support people on the path to wellness and hope to be able to incorporate Mindfulness into my protocols as I continue my own learning journey.

My Approach

In welcoming you to my practice, I offer a warm, friendly and highly confidential environment for you to share your concerns and health worries.

I see our consultations as a partnership in which we will both be invested.

On booking your consultation, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire which I will analyse prior to our first meeting. This then informs my questioning and our discussion throughout the consultation.


A detailed case history is built up that provides a strong foundation for us to work together in agreeing a plan for you to follow.


The aim of any recommendations is to support the different body systems, for example: digestive function, balancing blood sugar levels, helping the body’s natural detoxification pathways and strengthening the immune system.

During this first consultation, or further down the line in a follow-up consultation, we may also discuss the need for testing, to fully investigate the underlying causes of any symptoms. These tests may be via your GP where possible or functional laboratory tests.  Good quality supplements may also be advised where appropriate.

A plan will generally include lifestyle recommendations to support personal well-being. 


Working within a food first, evidence-based approach to nutrition, I aim to empower you on your journey to optimal health.
